Abstract

Minimally invasive approaches to esophageal leiomyoma, including thoracoscopic and laparoscopic enucleation, have been shown to have better postoperative recovery compared with thoracotomy approach. We present a case of robotic-assisted thoracoscopic enucleation of esophageal leiomyoma using the da Vinci(®) S system.
