[Adjustment to early retirement in males].

The article deals with pre-retirement as a critical life-event in the livespan of men. The empirical study shows modes of experiencing and adapting to pre-retirement. The predictors of adjustment to and satisfaction with retirement, as well as consequences of retirement in social participation are discussed.
