Abstract
Prenylated xanthones are secondary metabolites that are particularly common in plants belonging to the Clusiaceae family. Such compounds have been the focus intensive research because of their potential as biologically active agents. Here, we survey data published over the past decade relating to the properties of prenylated xanthones to provide a more detailed view of the potential of these naturally occurring compounds as therapeutic agents.Entities:
