Abstract
A 52-year-old male caucasian patient presented with a limbal subconjunctival pigmentation of unknown origin with progressive enlargement over the past years. Differential diagnoses included a malignant melanocytic lesion; therefore, an excisional biopsy was performed. Prior investigations showed no ciliary body or anterior chamber angle involvement. Histological and immunohistochemical analysis revealed the rare diagnosis of a scleral nevus. The clinical, histological and immunohistochemical findings as well as the relevant differential diagnoses are discussed.Entities:
