The article titled, “Effectiveness of chemomechanical caries removal agents Papacarie® and Carie-Care™ in primary molars: An in vitro study” published in pages 17-22, Supplement 1, April 2016, vol. 6 of “Journal of International Society of Preventive and Community Dentistry”[1] is being retracted. It has been reported and found that the article contains overlapping content particularly the images with a previously publishing article entirled, “Evaluation of the Efficacy of Caries Removal Using Polymer Bur, Stainless Steel Bur, Carisolv, Papacarie – An Invitro Comparative Study” published in pages ZC42-ZC46, vol. 9 of Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research[2]. Figure 3 and 6 are direct copies where parts of Figure 2 and 4 were used from the reference article. Thus owing to duplicity of content and forgery of data, the concerned article is being retracted.Editor in ChiefJournal of International Society of Preventive and Community Dentistry
