Abstract
Observing changes in pathophysiological tissue samples often relies on immunohistochemical or immunofluorescence analysis. These techniques show target microanatomy by visualizing marker molecules on cells and their microenvironment. Here, we describe the "pros and cons" in each method, along with alternative procedures and the suggested imaging equipment. Keywords: Autofluorescence; Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues; Immunofluorescence; Immunohistochemistry; Zinc fixation
