Abstract
Iatrogenic colonic perforations are relatively uncommon but serious complications of diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies. Transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) is an useful approach to the rectum and may be used for repair of a rectal perforation during colonoscopy. A 56-year-old male had an iatrogenic perforation of the rectum during a routine follow-up colonoscopy repaired by TEM with an uneventful and rapid recovery.Entities:
