Sequential changes in the cyclic nucleotide levels and cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase activities during development ofmyxococcus xanthus.

J Ho1, H D McCurdy1.

Abstract

The levels of adenosine 3',5'-monophosphate, guanosine 3'-5'-monophosphate and the activities of their respective phosphodiesterases exhibited changes during development ofMyxococcus xanthus that are substantially consistent with role postulated for each in a previously proposed model.
