Skin manifestations in systemic lupus erythematosus.

A study is presented of the skin manifestations of 30 patients, 25 females and 5 males, with systemic lupus erythematosus (S.L.E.) admitted to this hospital over a two year period. Their ages ranged from 20 years to 75 years. The diagnosis of S.L.E. was made according to the criteria laid down for the diagnosis of S.L.E. by the American Rheumatism Association.
