Abstract
A survey of 48 patients with Down's syndrome at Stewart's Hospital was conducted during July 1975. Particular attention was directed to the cardiovascular and visual status. The prevalence of associated anomalies in these systems was comparable to that noted in other countires. It is suggested that a cardiac assessment of such patients may help with regard to prognosis and planning, and that some visual defects may be preventable or remediable.Entities:
