Congenital septicaemia and pneumonia due to group B streptoccus.

Abstract

A case of congenital septicaemia and pneumonia is described in a term infant born to a vaginal carrier of Lancefield Group B streptococcus. This organism's increasing significance as a cause of perinatal infection is emphasised.
