[Management of biceps tendon ruptures with the "key hole-plasty"].

This is a report about 18 cases of a rupture of the long proximal biceps tendon. The interligamentous, "closed" lesion like an elongation was cured by gathering up the tendon (3 patients). With very good results 15 cases of a typical rupture in the sulcus intertubercularis were operated by using the so called "keyhole plasty". This method should be favoured.
