Abstract
BACKGROUND: Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) during the first six months of life is considered a high impact but low-cost measure for reducing the morbidity and mortality among children. Further, all the models for 0–5 month old children were adjusted against the season during which the interview took place and the model for children aged 6–8 months adjusted for the season during which most of the nursing (in first 6 months) took place.
