Dynamics of the Tip-edge bracket.

Tip-edge, a relatively new edgewise-type bracket, provides a dynamic interaction with either round or edgewise arch wires. This can promote the achievement of treatment goals, increase patient comfort, and enhance ease of appliance manipulation. The various relationships available with the Tip-edge arch wire slot, arch wires, and special auxiliaries and their effects are explained and illustrated in sequence as they would occur during the course of treatment.
