Pheochromocytoma presenting as shock and followed by spontaneous remission.

Abstract

A case of pheochromocytoma presenting as an acute abdominal emergency with shock is described. Shock was followed by transient hypertensive crisis and thereafter by spontaneous remission of clinical symptoms. The surgically removed tumor showed extensive necrosis.
