Abstract
The complications associated with harvesting were retrospectively evaluated in 28 patients in whom a total of 31 rib resections had been performed. There was one pleural tear that was repaired without resultant pneumothorax. There was no incidence of pneumothorax, pulmonary complications, or wound infection or breakdown. Long-term follow-up showed no chronic donor site pain or unsightly scars.Entities:
