Abstract
Two large living nematodes were removed from the peritoneal cavity of a 17-year-old youth complaining of intense abdominal pain in the right lower quadrant. The worms measured 55 and 59 mm in length and were identified as fourth-stage larvae of Eustrongylides. The patient gave a history of swallowing live minnows while fishing.Entities:
