Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Little is known about the influence of age, gender and language on the measurement properties of the long International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). The aim was to validate the long IPAQ in adults aged 18-84 in the German-, French- and Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland, focusing on differences between gender, age groups and language regions.Entities:

Acc = accelerometer, mpa = moderate physical activity, mvpa = moderate-to-vigorous physical activity, PA = physical activity, IPAQ = International Physical Activity Questionnaire.
Box includes the range from 25th to 75th percentile (line = median), whiskers display the upper and lower adjacent values, dots display outside values; adjacent values = most extreme values within 1.5 IQR of the nearer quartile.
