Abstract
Prevention of struma recurrence is a major aspect in postoperative management, following struma surgery. Prophylaxis is based on substitution of L-thyroxine, depending on TSH levels. The latter should be somewhere between 0.5 and 2.0 microU/ml. The rate of struma recurrence was below two per cent.Entities:
