What can we learn from the gay community's response to the AIDS crisis?

G Gerald.

Abstract

The gay community's response to AIDS is over seven years old. It has proved effective in significant areas and deficient in others. Given the amount of information and number of programs generated by the gay community's response, it is appropriate to examine ways in which the black community can avoid wasting valuable resources re-inventing the wheel.
