HR, Hazard ratio; CI, Confidence interval. Included are 91 patients with complete follow-up information.
Figure 1Kaplan Meier curve of Aquaporin 1 (AQP1) expression in this cohort of 91 malignant mesothelioma (MM) patients. The median overall survival was 13 months (95% CI 7.9–18) for patients with ≥50% AQP1 expression, n = 4, versus a median overall survival of 8 months (95% CI 4–12) for patients with <50% AQP1 expression (n = 7).
Distribution of AQP1 scores in pleural and peritoneal MM was not significantly different. Included in this table are all 100 cases for which sufficient tissue for immunohistochemistry was present in the blocks, irrespective of clinical follow up.

Distribution of AQP1 scores between the different histological subtypes of MM. Included in this table are all 100 cases for which sufficient tissue for immunohistochemistry was present in the blocks, irrespective of clinical follow up.
