Abstract
Microfocused ultrasound (MFU) generates tissue heating, which can be used for facial skin tightening as well as other areas of skin laxity. Unlike radiofrequency energy, MFU can penetrate deep into tissue without heating the superficial skin structures, allowing for higher treatment temperatures. Depending on patient factors and treatment protocols, 60% to 90% of patients can expect to see facial improvement 6 months after treatment.Entities:
