Figure 2.(A) MRI of the brain (FLAIR) on the seventh day showed diffused small round patchy lesions within juxtacortical matter. The periventricular white matter, corpus callosum, thalamus, basal ganglia, and infratentorial area (including the brainstem and cerebellar white matter) were not involved. (B) In the follow-up study on the 21st day in hospital, patchy lesions had disappeared completely.
