Abstract
In this report we describe a patient with anterior renal nutcracker syndrome caused by extrinsic compression of the left-sided inferior vena cava between the aorta and the superior mesenteric artery, as it crossed the midline, with resultant left renal vein hypertension. The patient was successfully treated by transposition of the right ovarian vein, which created a bypass of the compressed inferior vena cava and resulted in complete resolution of symptoms.Entities:
