Abstract
Dietzia cinnamea was recovered from pleural fluid in an immunocompromised patient by inoculating blood culture bottles and was identified with matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The case shows the expanding ability of microbiology laboratories to identify rare organisms through newer techniques and technology.Entities:
