Abstract
Read-across has become popular since the introduction of regulations, such as the European REACH regulation. This chapter provides instructions on how to use ToxRead, new freely available software for read-across analysis, and on how to interpret its output predictions for mutagenicity assessments.This tool offers two seminal sources: a set of rules/structural alerts, which may explain the toxicity, and a similarity tool, associated with a large database of chemicals with their properties.Entities:
