Abstract
The metabolism of tumors differs remarkably from that of normal tissues, but whether this is a stable feature of tumor cells is largely unknown. Recent findings by independent teams indicate that antiangiogenic drugs cause a metabolic shift in tumor cells that is associated with increased malignancy. These results suggest therapy-driven evolutionary dynamics of tumor metabolism that could be therapeutically targeted.Entities:
