Abstract
An alternative to general anesthesia for outpatient oral surgery that creates a state of cooperative amnesia without eliminating the patient's protective reflexes has been developed. Enflurane, 1.5%, administered via a nasal mask produced a high incidence of amnesia with all patients remaining cooperative, with protective reflexes intact.Entities:
