Abstract
PURPOSE: A comprehensive psychological comparison of preoperative stress in patients scheduled for thyroidectomy with versus without intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) has never been reported. The aim of this study was to assess whether a planned utilization of IONM had any effect on the reduction of stress and anxiety level before and after thyroid surgery.Entities:
