Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Mucormycosis is life threatening infection rarely affecting musculoskeletal system and spinal involvement is extremely rare with only two cases reported in English literature. CASE REPORT: We present this rare case of spondylodiscitis with lumbar vertebral osteomyelitis due to mucormycosis in a patient with chronic kidney disease on haemodialysis diagnosed by CT guided biopsy and highlight its clinico -radiological presentation and management principles.Entities:
