Abstract
The need for a liver-on-a-chip tissue model for drug screening is particularly important in tissue engineering because of the high frequency of drug-induced liver injury. Recently, a liver tissue model conducive to hepatotoxicity testing was developed by bioprinting hepatic spheroids encapsulated in a hydrogel scaffold into a microfluidic device.Entities:
