Abstract
We report the case of a rare congenital anomaly, a double-orifice mitral valve, in a 21-year-old woman who was asymptomatic and had no history of heart disease. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed two functionally normal orifices mitral valve of equal size. As the presentation in adulthood is rare, echocardiographers should be trained to make the appropriate diagnosis.Entities:
