Enucleation of intrahepatic biliary cystadenomas.

C W Pinson1, J L Munson, R L Rossi, J W Braasch.

Abstract

Enucleation is our technique of choice for the management of intrahepatic benign biliary cystadenomas. Our experience in four patients demonstrates the usefulness of this method, especially in large centrally located lesions. Primary application of this technique should minimize the substantial mortality and early and late morbidity associated with biliary cystadenomas.
