Abstract
We present a rare case of isolated liver metastasis from renal cell carcinoma 12 years after complete resection of the primary site. Such abnormal behavior of renal cell carcinoma has been reported elsewhere in the literature; thus, careful long-term surveillance should be performed in patients with a past history of renal cell carcinoma, even after radical resection of the primary site. We present also contrast-enhanced sonographic findings for this case.Entities:
