Abstract

We performed contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) for a patient with known splenosis. One mass was clearly enhanced while another mass showed moderate enhancement. The right kidney showed similar enhancement and was a little confusing. We concluded that CEUS is useful for diagnosing this entity, although it has some limitations. CEUS could be a better diagnostic option than scintigraphic studies.
