Abstract
Penetrating trauma to the abdomen can be a potential diagnostic dilemma for the trauma surgeon, and a formal exploratory laparotomy may result in the detection of occult injuries. We report a very unusual case of penetrating trauma to the abdomen resulting in pericardio-diagphragmatic rupture. We have also highlighted the technical aspects of clinical care in this specific scenario.Entities:
