Abstract
Hydatid cyst is one of the five most diagnosed zoonotic diseases in the Mediterranean region. However, intramuscular localisation is very rare. It is reported that muscular involvement constitutes 1-5.4% of all Echinococcus infections. Here we would like to report an unusual case of hydatid cyst in the gluteus muscle, which had been treated with both surgical and medical treatment.Entities:
