Abstract
A new method for removing a secondary cataract with a posterior chamber lens in situ was developed using a specially designed irrigation/aspiration handpiece. In two cases, a focal rupture of the posterior capsule without vitreous prolapse occurred. There were no other serious complications observed in 367 patients who were treated.Entities:
