Teaching biochemistry online at Oregon State University.

Abstract

A strategy for growing online biochemistry courses is presented based on successes in ecampus at Oregon State University. Four free drawing cards were key to the effort-YouTube videos, iTunes U online free course content, an Open Educational Resource textbook-Biochemistry Free and Easy, and a fun set of educational songs known as the Metabolic Melodies.
