Abstract
A case of spontaneous rupture of a nonparasitic liver cyst, documented by serial computed tomography scans, is reported. The patient was closely followed clinically after the rupture of the cyst and was treated conservatively, without surgical intervention. No peritonitis developed. This unusual complication of nonparasitic simple liver cysts may not always require surgery.Entities:
