Abstract
Adrenalectomies in dogs are being more commonly performed, however anaesthetic management of such cases can be challenging due to the multiple aetiologies of adrenal tumours and the physiological role of adrenal glands. This case report describes the anaesthetic management of a dog with clinical signs of hyperadrenocorticism that underwent unilateral adrenalectomy via laparotomy and discusses anaesthetic preparedness, protocol selection and management of complications for dogs undergoing adrenalectomy.Entities:
