Abstract
A case of penetrating thoraco-abdominal injury involving portal vein in the free margin of lesser omentum is reported; light traction on a tape sling or a tape tourniquet around the hepato-duodenal ligament applied just above the level of duodenum is an effective method of achieving haemostasis and space necessary for repair of portal venous injury at this site.Entities:
