Prepupillary pseudophakos and iseikonization.

Y Oguchi1, A T Van Balen1.

Abstract

Ultrasonography in combination with keratometry is of importance in estimating not only the emmetropizing, but also the iseikonizing power of the artificial implant lens before the operation.Sixty unilateral cataractous patients were examined before and after the operation, one post-operatively only. The results will be discussed, especially as far as iseikonization is concerned.
