Abstract
We describe a case of a three and half month old infant presenting with a congestive heart failure due to hypocalcemic cardiomyopathy. Vitamin D deficiency rickets was found to be the cause for the hypocalcemia. The heart failure responded promptly to adequate Calcium therapy accompanied by usual anticongestive therapy.Entities:
