Abstract
Benzylacetone has appetite-enhancing and locomotor-reducing effects. The effective doses for these two outcomes overlap, and the weight gain of mice exposed to benzylacetone is caused by both appetite-enhancement and a reduction in locomotor activity. The appetite-enhancing effects of trans-cinnamaldehyde and benzylacetone have been reported previously. In this study, these appetite-enhancing effects were seen in mice after short-term, high-dose exposure.Entities:
