Abstract
UNLABELLED: With the popularization of new imaging technology, more people are deciding to undergo non-invasive studies such as multidetector computerized tomography (MDCT) before receiving coronary angiography. For this reason, coronary anomalies of coronary artery are being encountered more frequently. We here report a 68-year-old male presenting with typical angina. The MDCT images suggested chronic total occlusion of the left anterior descending (LAD) artery with collateral circulation from the right coronary artery (RCA). The patient's coronary angiography showed a congenital coronary anomaly with a single dominant RCA supplying the entire coronary circulation of the heart with both LAD and left circumflex artery hypoplasia.
