FAST = The Frenchay Aphasia Screening Test, TRCs = Tension Rating Circles, GAD-7 = Generalised Anxiety Disorder-7, HADS-A = Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale-Anxiety subscale, BOA = Behavioural Outcomes of Anxiety questionnaire.
Four carers and one patient did not provided gender data, one carer in each relaxation condition.

Using the HADS-A at the cut-off of 7/8 proposed by Zigmond and Snaith[18] and recommended for community samples.[14]
