Fig. 1Airway pressure values (Mean, SD) over time in non-obese patients versus obese patients without bronchospasm versus obese patients with bronchospasm. Between groups comparisons showed significantly (P = 0.000) higher airway pressures in obese compared to non-obese patients, and significantly (P = 0.01) higher airway pressures in patients with bronchospasm compared to patients without bronchospasm at all time points. Within groups comparisons did not show significant changes of airway pressures over time (P = 0.08)
