Abstract
This article describes the clinically significant motor and sensory deficits that follow high median nerve injuries and addresses the indications, limitations, and outcomes of nerve transfers, when striving to overcome the deficits these patients' experiences. Preferred surgical reconstructive strategy using motor and sensory nerve transfers, and surgical techniques used to perform these transfers, are described.Entities:
