Abstract
BACKGROUND: The use of stimulant drugs among men who have sex with men (MSM) with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is associated with decreased odds of antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence and elevated risk of forward HIV transmission. Advancing tailored and innovative mobile phone-based ART adherence app interventions for stimulant-using HIV-positive MSM requires greater understanding of their needs and preferences in this emerging area.Entities:

aColumn percentage.
bART adherence was assessed with the following item: “What percent of your prescribed HIV medication have you taken in the last 60 days (or about the last 2 months)? This may not be 100% for many people (eg, 0% means you have taken no medication, 50% means you have taken half your medication, 100% means you have taken every single dose of medication and at your usual scheduled time). If you’re unsure, make a best guess” with a pulldown menu of percentages from 0-100% with response options at 1% increments.
